UM Series Ground Mounted Universal Marker

UM Series Ground Mounted Universal Markers are an all weather delineator that provide daytime and nighttime delineation for survey, right of way, or other marking applications requiring outdoor durability, lightweight, impact and vandal resistance.

DESIGN
The Universal Marker is a two piece marker capable of simple, permanent installation by one person using a manual or pneumatic driving tool. The marker upon proper installation shall resist displacement from wind and vehicle impact forces. The UM Series allows sheeting application and provide structural rigidity. The bottom stake is be pointed for ease of ground penetration. A black line is stamped horizontally across the front of the marker near the bottom to indicate proper burial depth.



The Universal Marker width is 3" in order to accommodate a 3" inch wide decal and provide adequate daytime delineation. The marker provides the required height above the road surface with a minimum embedment of 18 inches.



VEHICLE IMPACTS
The Universal Marker is capable of self-erecting and remains functional after being subjected to an impact by a typical passenger sedan at 35 M.P.H. without substantially damaging the vehicle. In addition, it is cold impact resistant, withstanding fracturing cracking or splitting.

MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP
The Universal Marker is UV stabilized, color-impregnated co- polymer for long life expectancy. It features excellent workmanship and is free from burns, discoloration, contamination, and other objectionable marks or defects that affect appearance or serviceability.
